“Jesus must appear to you and to your friend
individually; no one can see Jesus with your eyes. And division takes place
when one has seen Him and the other has not. You cannot bring your friend to
the point of seeing; God must do it. Have you seen Jesus? If so, you will want
others to see Him too. “And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not
believe them either” (Mark 16:13). When you see Him, you must tell, even if
they don’t believe.” CHAMBERS
Are there people in your life that you desperately
want to be saved? Do they keep those
conversations with you at arms distance?
They may not be wicked people, but they have not placed the faith in
Jesus who is the way, truth and life. They
are pursuing another path to heaven that actually leads to a dead end. They ignore the warning signs and your
pleas. Oh, if you could only make them believe. Or perhaps you think that you love them too
much to offend them. Do you really love
them if you choose to be silent and watch them go to hell. You may be with them for a few years on earth
.. but you will be separated from them for eternity. You need to speak the truth in love. But know this, you cannot save them .. any
more than the person who shared the gospel with you could actually save you. Salvation is personal … it is between the
person and God and it is supernatural. Your
part is to speak the Gospel and live the Gospel as a testimony to them. So when the Spirit prompts you .. tell them about Jesus. Don’t lose heart ….
Lift them up before the Lord … and trust God.
My folks shared Jesus with me in
1970, but it was not until 1976 that I trusted Him as Lord. They prayed for me all the while.
