John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commands”. Our obedience is to be a result of our love
.. not our fear of punishment. Jesus
said that our obedience would be a reflection of our love and the opposite is
also true … our lack of obedience reflects our lack of love and commitment to Jesus
…. Isn’t that really what hurts your heart when your children disobey? Everything I do should have love behind it …
Love for the One who has saved me .. love for others (Matthew 22:37-39).
1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now these three remain:
faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
